Pan Am International Flight Academy, the world’s most respected Airline Training Company, offers courses for aviation dispatcher training which qualify graduates for the FAA Aircraft Flight Dispatcher Certificate. Training is offered thru a partnership with IRC International, LLC.

Initial Aircraft Dispatcher Courses:

We offer two courses for the FAA Aircraft Flight Dispatcher License.  These courses are designed for individuals or airline new hires seeking their FAA Aircraft Flight Dispatchers License and are offered in either 6 week or 3 week courses.

Ab-Intio Dispatcher Liscensing Course - 200 Hours

For students with no aviation experience, Pan Am provides a 200 hour comprehensive course. Students attend class five days a week and are able to complete the entire program-including all FAA certification checks and includes the dispatch written test within the six weeks.
 
To make sure that you have all of the tools to be successful in your initial 200 hour dispatcher course we will give you a laptop computer, programmed for your dispatcher course, for you to keep. When the student graduates they have a dispatch license.  Pre-Requisites: None

Initial Dispatcher Course – 100 Hours (3 Weeks)

For students with a busy schedule, we offer aircraft dispatcher course that is 100 hours over two and half weeks. You will begin this course with 100 hours of  home study preparing for your in class instruction.  This course  prepares you for your FAA Aircraft dispatcher’s license.
 
To make sure that you have all of the tools to be successful in your initial 200 hour dispatcher course we will give you a laptop computer, programmed for your dispatcher course, for you to keep. When the student graduates they have a dispatch license.  Pre-Requisites: None

Reduced Prep Dispatcher Courses with Previous Experience:

Pan Am International Flight Academy currently offers two courses for the FAA Aircraft Flight Dispatcher License.  These courses are designed for individuals or airline new hires seeking their FAA Aircraft Flight Dispatchers License and are offered in either 6 week or 3 week courses.

Aviation Experience Dispatcher Course (40 Hours)

Pan Am is also able to provide a course for candidates with previous aviation experience.  This 40 hour course is spent solely on preparing for the FAA Practical Test. This course is not designed to be a full dispatcher certification course but rather, a self-study pratical test preparation course. Students will get a Certificate of Completion and be directed to the Designated Examiner for their Practical and license.

Pre-Requisites: 

•Course requires the dispatch written (ADX) be sucessfully completed before starting class. Please note: Written exam cost not included in total course price.

• A total of at least 2 years experience in the 3 years before the date of application, in any one or in any combination of the following areas:

(1) In military aircraft operations as:
         • Pilot
         • Flight navigator
         • Meteorologist
 
(2) In aircraft operations conducted under part 121 of this chapter as:
         • An assistant in dispatching air carrier aircraft, under the direct
       supervision of a dispatcher certificated under this subpart;
         • A pilot
         • A flight engineer
         • A meteorologist
 
(3) In aircraft operations as:
         • An Air Traffic Controller; or
         • A Flight Service Specialist
