China Pilot Job Fair Adds Two Additional Airlines

Jan 31, 2012 -- Miami   Pan Am International Flight Academy, along with WASINC, hosts of the All China Job Fair being held in Miami and Las Vegas on February 23 -24, 26 announced today the addition of two more Asian airlines who will participate and hold interviews, bringing the total number to 12 major airlines at the fair.


West Air and Skymark Airlines have joined an already impressive list of Chinese airlines seeking new pilot hires for their respective operations.  The other airlines include: Shenzhen Airlines,  Air China,  Hainan Airlines, Tianjin Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, Xiamen Airlines, Chengdu Airlines, Spring Airlines, Okair, Business Aviation Asia, and West Air.

This impressive list, now an even dozen, represent some of the more prominent and growth orientated airlines serving the region. Air China alone has 252 aircraft and flies to 63 international cities, 3 regions and 90 domestic cities.

“We’re please to welcome West Air and Skymark to our fair…” states Vito Cutrone, President and CEO of Pan Am.  “These twelve airlines coming to the United States in one event, seeking pilots, doing interviews and offering one-the-spot conditional job offers in unheard of!  We’re thrilled to be hosting this event with our WASINC partner.”

The free pilot job fair is scheduled for Feb. 23-24 at Pan Am’s International headquarters on the Miami International Airport, 10 am to 5 pm.  Pan Am’s Las Vegas training center in Henderson is the location of the job fair on Feb. 26th.

Pilots will have the opportunity to learn more about this burgeoning market and be interviewed for positions currently available. Qualified applicants may receive on-the-spot conditional offers for jobs for the following aircraft: The Boeing 777, Boeing 747-400,  Boeing 767, Boeing 737NG and EFIS, Airbus A340, Airbus A330, Airbus A320, Embraer EMB190, and Embraer EMB145.

Mr. Gregory Darrow, Director of Sales adds: “Interest has been incredible. We are already nearing 700 registered attendees and will likely see a thousand before the doors open…” Pan Am is making their fleet of simulators available for flight tests during the event.
