DC-10 PIC Initial Certification, ATP/Type Rating, Part 61
This course provides the crewmember with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a DC-10 Type Rating.
Prerequisites: The crewmember must hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine Land, Instrument Rating, ATP written and meets the requirements of Part 61.
Course Duration: Approximately 21 Days
Classroom Instruction: 56:00 Hours
System Integration Training: 24:00 Hours (16:00 hours classroom; mock-up or simulator without motion + 8:00 hours briefing)
Simulator/Flight Training: 14:00 Hours per trainee (Level C or higher)

DC-10 PIC Reduced Certification, ATP/Type Rating, Part 61
This course is for crewmembers that have been previously trained and qualified as a Pilot on the DC-10 aircraft, with a minimum of 250 hours logged in aircraft type. This course provides the crewmember with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a DC-10 Type Rating.
Prerequisites: The crewmember must have been serving as a DC-10 active crew member within the last 59 months, with a minimum of 250 hours in type; hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine Land, Instrument Rating, ATP written; or hold an ATP; and meets the requirements of Part 61.
Course Duration: Approximately 15 Days
Classroom Instruction: 24:00 Hours
Simulator/Flight Training: 14:00 Hours per trainee, or to proficiency (Level C or higher)

This course is to ensure that a PIC crewmember is adequately trained and currently proficient with respect to the DC-10 aircraft. The course is applicable to previously trained and qualified PIC crewmembers on the DC-10 aircraft.
Prerequisites: The crewmember must hold an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with a DC-10 Type Rating.
Course Duration: Approximately 4 Days

This course provides the SIC crewmember with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a SIC Qualification Check, meeting the requirements of Part 61.55.
The course is incomplete until documentation is provided for one takeoff and landing in the DC-10 aircraft.
Prerequisites: The crewmember must hold a Private Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine Land and Instrument Rating.

Prerequisites: The crewmember must hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine Land, Instrument Rating, FE written and meets the requirements Part 63.
Course Duration: Approximately 21 Days

This course is designed to provide a previously qualified DC-10 Pilot with the necessary knowledge in order to proficiently perform duties as DC-10 Flight Engineer
Prerequisites: The crewmember must be current and have operated as pilot on the DC-10 aircraft within the last 12 months, an posses a Commercial Pilot Certificate with an Instrument Rating.
Course Duration: Approximately 15 Days

This course is to ensure that the Flight Engineer is adequately trained and currently proficient with respect to the DC-10 aircraft. The course is applicable to previously trained and qualified Flight Engineers on the DC-10 aircraft.
Prerequisites: The crewmember must hold a Flight Engineer Certificate with Turbo Jet Powered Rating; and must have been previously trained and qualified as a DC-10 Flight Engineer.
Course Duration: Approximately 4 Days
