DC-10 PIC Initial Certification, ATP/Type Rating, Part 61
This course provides the crewmember with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a DC-10 Type Rating.
Prerequisites:
- Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine Land
- Instrument Rating
- ATP written
- Meets the requirements of Part 61
Course Duration: Approximately 21 Days
Classroom Instruction: 56:00 Hours
System Integration Training: 24:00 Hours (16:00 hours classroom; mock-up or simulator without motion + 8:00 hours briefing)
Simulator/Flight Training: 14:00 Hours per trainee (Level C or higher)
02:00 Hours LOFT
Simulator/Certification Check: 3 Hours per trainee (Level C or higher)
DC-10 PIC Reduced Certification, ATP/Type Rating, Part 61
This course is for crewmembers that have been previously trained and qualified as a Pilot on the DC-10 aircraft, with a minimum of 250 hours logged in aircraft type. This course provides the crewmember with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a DC-10 Type Rating.
Prerequisites:
- Serving as a DC-10 active crew member within the last 59 months
- Minimum of 250 hours in type
- Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine Land
- Instrument Rating
- ATP written; or hold an ATP
- Meets the requirements of Part 61
Course Duration: Approximately 15 Days
Classroom Instruction: 24:00 Hours
Simulator/Flight Training: 14:00 Hours per trainee, or to proficiency (Level C or higher) 02:00 Hours LOFT

This course provides the crewmember with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a DC-10 Type Rating.

DC-10 PIC Recurrent, Part 61.58
This course is to ensure that a PIC crewmember is adequately trained and currently proficient with respect to the DC-10 aircraft. The course is applicable to previously trained and qualified PIC crewmembers on the DC-10 aircraft.
Prerequisites:
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with a DC-10 Type Rating
Course Duration: Approximately 4 Days
Classroom Instruction: 16:00 Hours
Simulator/Flight Training: * Paired: 02:00 Hours PF, 02:00 Hours PM (Level B or higher)
* Non Paired: 04:00 Hours PF (Level B or higher)

DC-10 SIC Initial Qualification, Part 61.55
This course provides the SIC crewmember with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a SIC Qualification Check, meeting the requirements of Part 61.55. The course is incomplete until documentation is provided for one takeoff and landing in the DC-10 aircraft.

- Private Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine Land
- Instrument Rating

This course is to ensure that a crewmember is adequately trained and currently proficient with respect to the DC-10 aircraft. The course is applicable to previously trained and qualified SIC crewmembers on the DC-10 aircraft.

- Instrument Rating
- Previously trained and qualified as DC-10 SIC
Course Duration: Approximately 4 Days

This course provides the trainee with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a DC-10 Flight Engineer Turbo Jet Powered Certificate.
Prerequisites:
- Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine Land
- Instrument Rating
- Flight Engineer written
- Meets the requirements Part 63
Course Duration: Approximately 21 Days
Classroom Instruction: 72:00 Hours
System Integration Training: 24:00 Hours (16:00 hours classroom; mock-up or simulator without motion + 8:00 hours briefing)
Simulator/Flight Training: 20:00 Hours per trainee (Level B or higher)
Simulator/Certification Check: As Required, 4 Hours per trainee (Level B or higher)
DC-10 Flight Engineer (FE) Reduced, Part 63, Subpart B
This course is designed to provide a previously qualified DC-10 Pilot with the necessary knowledge in order to proficiently perform duties as DC-10 Flight Engineer
Prerequisites:
- Current and have operated as pilot on the DC-10 aircraft within the last 12 months
- Commercial Pilot Certificate
- Instrument Rating
Course Duration: Approximately 15 Days
Classroom Instruction: 24:00 Hours
System Integration Training: 18:00 Hours (12:00 hours classroom; mock-up or simulator without motion + 6:00 hours briefing)
Simulator/Flight Training: 20:00 Hours per trainee (Level B or higher)
Simulator/Proficiency Check: As Required, 4 Hours per trainee (Level B or higher)
DC-10 Flight Engineer (FE) Recurrent, Part 91.529
This course is to ensure that the Flight Engineer is adequately trained and currently proficient with respect to the DC-10 aircraft. The course is applicable to previously trained and qualified Flight Engineers on the DC-10 aircraft.
Prerequisites:
- Flight Engineer Certificate with Turbo Jet Powered Rating
- Trained and qualified as a DC-10 Flight Engineer
Course Duration: Approximately 4 Days
