This course provides the crewmember with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a B707 Type Rating.


Prerequisites:

  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine Land
  • Instrument Rating
  • 50 hours Multi Engine flight time
  • ATP written
  • Meets the requirements of Part 61

Course Duration: Approximately 20 Days
Classroom Instruction: 48:00 Hours
System Integration Training: 16:00 Hours (classroom; mock-up or simulator without motion)
Simulator/Flight Training: Paired: 12:00 Hours PF, 12:00 Hours PM. 02:00 Hours LOFT (Each Pilot). Non Paired: 18:00 Hours PF. 02:00 Hours LOFT
Simulator/Certification Check: 3 Hours per trainee

This course is for crewmembers that have been previously trained and qualified as a Pilot on the B707 aircraft, with a minimum of 250 hours logged in aircraft type. The course provides the crewmember with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a B707 Type Rating.

Prerequisites:

  • Serving as a B707 active crew member within the last 59 months
  • Minimum of 250 hours in type
  • Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine Land
  • Instrument Rating
  • ATP written; or hold an ATP
  • Meets the requirements of Part 61

Course Duration: Approximately 8 Days
Classroom Instruction: 16:00 Hours
Simulator/Flight Training: Paired: 12:00 Hours PF, 12:00 Hours PM or to proficiency, 02:00 Hours LOFT (Each Pilot). Non Paired: 18:00 Hours PF or to proficiency, 02:00 Hours LOFT
Simulator/Certification Check: 3 Hours per trainee

This course is to ensure that a PIC crewmember is adequately trained and currently proficient with respect to the B707 aircraft.  The course is applicable to previously trained and qualified PIC crewmember on the B707 aircraft.


Prerequisites:

  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with a B707 Type Rating.

Course Duration: Approximately 4 Days
Classroom Instruction: 16:00 Hours
Simulator/Flight Training: Paired: 02:00 Hours PF, 02:00 Hours PM. Non Paired: 04:00 Hours PF.
Simulator/Proficiency Check: 3 Hours per trainee

NOTE: Tasks not creditable in a Level A or B simulator must be accomplished in the airplane.

This course provides the SIC crewmember with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a SIC Qualification Check, meeting the requirements of Part 61.55. The course is incomplete until documentation is provided for one takeoff and landing in the B707 aircraft.

  • Private Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine Land
  • Instrument Rating

Course Duration: Approximately 20 Days
Classroom Instruction: 48:00 Hours
System Integration Training: 16:00 Hours (classroom; CPT; simulator without motion)
Simulator/Flight Training: Paired: 12:00 Hours PF, 12:00 Hours PM. Non Paired: 16:00 Hours PF.
Simulator/Qualification Check: 3 Hours per trainee

This course provides the trainee with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a B707 Flight Engineer Turbo Jet Powered Certificate.


Prerequisites:

  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine Land
  • Instrument Rating
  • Flight Engineer written
  • Meets the requirements Part 63

Course Duration: Approximately 20 Days
Classroom Instruction: 64:00 Hours (If applicant does not hold an FE Turbojet Powered Certificate)
System Integration Training: 16:00 Hours (classroom; mock-up or simulator without motion)
Simulator/Flight Training: 20:00 Hours per trainee
Simulator/Certification Check: 3 Hours (If applicant holds FE Turbojet powered certificate). 5 Hours (If applicant does not hold an FE Turbojet Powered Certificate

Prerequisites:

  • Flight Engineer Certificate with Turbo Jet Powered Rating
  • Must have been previously trained and qualified as a B-707 Flight Engineer.
