This course provides the crewmember with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a B737 Type Rating.


Prerequisites:

  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine Land
  • Instrument Rating
  • 50 hours Multi Engine flight time
  • ATP written
  • Meets the requirements of Part 61

Course Duration: Approximately 21 Days
Classroom Instruction: On Site Option: 48:00 Hours. Home Study Option: 40:00 Hrs at home + 8:00 Hrs On-Site
System Integration Training: 16:00 Hours (Classroom,  mock-up or simulator without motion)
Simulator/Flight Training: Paired: 12:00 Hours PF, 12:00 Hours PM, 02:00 Hours LOFT (Each Pilot). Non Paired: 18:00 Hours PF, 02:00 Hours LOFT
Simulator/Certification Check: 3 Hours per trainee

This course is for crewmembers that have been qualified as B-737-NG Pilot within the last 59 months, with a minimum of 250 hours in type. The course provides the crewmember with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a B737 Type Rating.


Prerequisites: 

  • Serving as a B737-NG active crew member within the last 59 months
  • Minimum of 250 hours in type
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine Land
  • Instrument Rating
  • ATP written; or hold an ATP
  • and meets the requirements of Part 61

Course Duration: Approximately 12 Days
Classroom Instruction: 16:00 Hours
Simulator/Flight Training: Paired: 12:00 Hours PF, 12:00 Hours PM or to proficiency, 02:00 Hours LOFT (Each Pilot). Non Paired: 18:00 Hours PF or to proficiency, 02:00 Hours LOFT
Simulator/Certification Check: 3 Hours per trainee

This course is to ensure that PIC crewmember is adequately trained and currently proficient with respect to the B737-NG aircraft.  The course is applicable to previously trained and qualified PIC crewmembers on the B737-NG aircraft.


Prerequisites:

  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with a B737 Type Rating.

Course Duration: Approximately 4 Days
Classroom Instruction: 16:00 Hours
Simulator/Flight Training: Paired: 02:00 Hours PF, 02:00 Hours PM. Non Paired: 04:00 Hours PF. 
Simulator/Proficiency Check: 3 Hours per trainee

This course provides the SIC crewmember with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a SIC Qualification Check, meeting the requirements of Part 61.55. The course is incomplete until documentation is provided for one takeoff and landing in the B737-NG aircraft.

  • Instrument Rating

Course Duration: Approximately 21 Days

B737 Differences Training [B737-200 to B737-NG], PIC Part 61.58 or SIC Part 61.55

This course is to ensure that each crewmember has the knowledge and skills needed to operate the B737-NG  aircraft in his/her assigned duty position

Prerequisites:

  • The crewmember must have been previously trained and qualified in a flight crewmember position on the B737-200 aircraft

Course Duration: Approximately 4 Days
Classroom Instruction: 16:00 Hours
System Integration Training: 12:00 Hours (8:00 hours classroom; mock-up, FTD or simulator without motion + 4:00 hours briefing)
Simulator/Flight Training: 04:00 Hours PF per trainee
Simulator/Certification Check: 3 Hours per trainee

B737 Differences Training [-300/-400/-500 to NG], PIC Part 61.58 or SIC Part 61.55

This course is to ensure that each crewmember has the knowledge and skills needed to operate the B737-800 aircraft in his/her assigned duty position

Prerequisites:

  • The crewmember must have been previously trained and qualified in a flight crewmember position on the B737-300, 400, 500 aircraft

Course Duration: Approximately 4 Days
Classroom Instruction: 16:00 Hours
System Integration Training: 12:00 Hours (8:00 hours classroom; mock-up, FTD,  or simulator without motion + 4:00 hours briefing)
Simulator/Flight Training: 04:00 Hours PF per trainee
Simulator/Certification Check: 3 Hours per trainee
