B-757 Courses Available

This course provides the crewmember with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a B757 Type Rating.


Prerequisites:

  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine Land
  • Instrument Rating
  • 50 hours Multi Engine flight time
  • ATP written
  • Meets the requirements of Part 61

Course Duration: Approximately 21 Days
Classroom Instruction: On Site Option: 48:00 Hours. Home Study Option: 40:00 Hrs at home + 8:00 Hrs On-Site
System Integration Training: 16:00 Hours (Classroom, mock-up or simulator without motion)
Simulator/Flight Training: Paired: 12:00 Hours PF, 12:00 Hours PM. 02:00 Hours LOFT (Each Pilot). Non Paired:  18:00 Hours PF, 02:00 Hours LOFT
Simulator/Certification Check: 3 Hours per trainee

This course is for crewmembers that have been previously trained and qualified as a Pilot on the B757 aircraft, with a minimum of 250 hours logged in the B757 aircraft. The course provides the crewmember with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a B757 Type Rating.


Prerequisites:

  • Served as a B-757 active crew member within the last 59 months
  • Minimum of 250 hours in type
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine Land
  • Instrument Rating
  • ATP written; or hold an ATP
  • Meets the requirements of Part 61

Course Duration: Approximately 21 Days
Classroom Instruction: 16:00 Hours
Simulator/Flight Training: Paired: 12:00 Hours PF, 12:00 Hours PM or to proficiency, 02:00 Hours LOFT (Each Pilot). Non Paired: 18:00 Hours PF, or to proficiency, 02:00 Hours LOFT
Simulator/Certification Check: 3 Hours per trainee

This course is to ensure that a PIC crewmember is adequately trained and currently proficient with respect to the B757 aircraft.  The course is applicable to previously trained and qualified PIC crewmembers on the B757 aircraft.


Prerequisites:

  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with a B757 Type Rating


Course Duration: Approximately 4 Days
Classroom Instruction: 16:00 Hours
Simulator/Flight Training: Paired: 02:00 Hours PF, 02:00 Hours PM. Non Paired: 04:00 Hours PF.
Simulator/Proficiency Check: 3 Hours per trainee

This course provides the SIC crewmember with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a SIC Qualification Check, meeting the requirements of Part 61.55. The course is incomplete until documentation is provided for one takeoff and landing in the B757 aircraft.

  • Private Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine Land
  • Instrument Rating

Classroom Instruction: On Site Option: 48:00 Hours. Home Study Option: 40:00 Hrs at home + 8:00 Hrs On-Site
System Integration Training: 16:00 Hours (classroom; CPT; simulator without motion)
Simulator/Flight Training: Paired: 12:00 Hours PF, 12:00 Hours PM. Non Paired: 16:00 Hours PF

B757 Differences Training [B767 to B757], PIC Part 61.58 or SIC Part 61.55

This course is to ensure that each crewmember has the knowledge and skills needed to operate the B757 aircraft in his/her assigned duty position

Prerequisites:

  • The crewmember must have been previously trained and qualified in a flight crewmember position on the B767 aircraft

Course Duration: Approximately 4 Days
Classroom Instruction: 16:00 Hours
System Integration Training: 12:00 Hours (8:00 hours classroom; mock-up, FTD or simulator without motion + 4:00 hours briefing)
Simulator/Flight Training: 04:00 Hours PF per trainee
Simulator/Certification Check: 3 Hours per trainee
