Certified Flight Instructor Course Details

This program is designed to take an FAA single engine Commercial Pilot with instrument rating to the completion of the Certified Flight Instructor (CFI / CFIA) in as little as 21 days. Expand your horizons as a professional pilot by adding this rating. 98% of our CFI graduates are hired as line instructors on completion of this course.

Prerequisites:

  • Hold an FAA Commercial Single Engine with Instrument Rating
  • Have a Valid FAA Medical

  • 40 Hours Ground School
  • 27.5 Hours Flight Instruction
  • 19.5 Hours Pre & Post Flight Briefings
  • 40 Hours Ground Briefings
  • 1.2 Hours Redbird AATD Simulator
  • 13 Hours Cessna 172 G1000 Glass Cockpit Aircraft
  • 13.3 Hours Bonanza A36 (complex)
